Zucchini Pickles
Want to make something else besides the old standby—zucchini bread?  Can’t give away any more of these prolific little guys?  Have you been a victim of a drive-by zucchini drop off?  Well here is the solution … learn how to make delicious zucchini pickles.  All you need to bring is your stash of zucchinis and some sweet onions; the other ingredients will be provided for you.  At the end of the evening, you will take home four quarts of summer to enjoy this winter.  This class takes place at Mary’s kitchen in West Chicago.  Bring your own jars and Mary will give you a discount on the class!

Offered three times:  September 27, 28 and 29;  6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Fee: $35 per session; bring three pounds of zucchini and two pounds of sweet onions (e.g., Vidalia).
