A three-part, in-depth introduction to the history of the labyrinth, its use in our prayer life, and the sacred experience of walking the labyrinth.
Session 1: An Introduction to Labyrinths
Labyrinths are found in many cultures all over the world. Why were they created, what is their function, why have the re-emerged in recent times? Come to explore the history, mystery, and wisdom of the labyrinth and its relevance in our lives today.
Session 2: Labyrinths and Prayer
Among the many gifts the labyrinth offers us, it can help to enhance and expand our prayer life. Join us as we delve into the ways that labyrinths can be a useful tool in our communication with the Divine.
Session3: Walking the Labyrinth
In this concluding session, we will experience what the labyrinth holds for us. A sacred space will be created for our labyrinth walk and for processing the experience afterwards.
