The Mandala as a Tool for Spiritual Discernment
“Mandala” is Sanskrit for circle, polygon, community, or connection. The dictionary defines a mandala as any of various ritualistic geometric designs symbolic of the universe, used in East Asian traditions as an aid to meditation to open the soul and to try to get to the center, to show the universe and everything that is in it. This program will teach you a simple, yet powerful and prayerful approach to creating your own mandala as a means to discern life choices. The time will include meditation, creative work, personal reflection, and group sharing. No artistic ability is required—merely an open mind and heart! All materials will be provided.
